Dr Sina Beiraghi

Our practice Principal is Dr Sina Beiraghi. He has been a GP for more than 20 years and has spent 17 of those years caring for the families and individuals in Loganholme and its surrounding suburbs. Dr Beiraghi is well known for the dedication he shows to patients with complex health challenges. He believes in getting to the “bottom of the problem”.

Dr Beiraghi has a keen interest in skin cancer from screening to surveillance, diagnosis and management including surgical removal. Mental Health and Diabetes Management are his other areas of special interest.

When not at work Dr Beiraghi can be found spending time with his wife, children and dogs, or challenging himself in the great sport of triathlon.

Dr Salma Seedat

Dr Salma Seedat is a UK graduate and has a special interest in Cosmetic Medicine, Womens Health & Family Planning and Mental Health. Dr Seedat is qualified to insert the Mirena IUD.

As a water sports enthusiast, Dr Seedat makes the most of the Queensland weather.

Dr Seb Moss

Dr Seb Moss has just emigrated to Australia having completed his General Practice training in Wales in the UK. He has skills in all areas of general practice, and has particular interests in SKIN CANCER, Child Health, Mental Health, Aged Care, and Emergency Medicine. Dr Moss is also qualified to insert Implanon [1](for Contraception), as part of a wider interest in Sexual Health and Family Planning. Dr Moss provides a compassionate, non-judgemental and open-minded service to all patients regardless of background.

When not in work Dr Moss enjoys spending time with his wife and son. He tries to stay true to his roots by following the Welsh rugby union team but is happy to be settled in Queensland and has adapted to life here. He firmly believes that a healthy lifestyle should be a pleasure not a chore, and has recently discovered the joys of surfing (or at least falling off a surfboard).

Dr Rita Knowles

Dr Rita Knowles, an Australian graduate, is an experienced GP of more than 22 years. Dr Knowles is also a long standing GP in the Loganholme community providing care for patients since 2003. Her vast experience combined with her diligent and considered approach to medicine makes her a very popular doctor.

Dr Knowles' areas of interest include Women’s Health, Maternity Care & Family Planning and Children’s Health.

Like many working mums, Dr Knowles juggles work, family and pets.

Mon & Wed 9.00am to 3.00pm, Thur 8.00am to 3.00pm and alternate Tuesdays 8.00am to 3.00pm

Dr Halina Clare

Dr Halina Clare trained in the UK and served in the Royal Army Medical Corps including on operations. On leaving she continued to work in a rehabilitation following her interest in Sport/ Musculoskeletal medicine as well as working as a GP Partner in North Yorkshire. 

She has an interest in musculoskeletal/ sports medicine as well as womens health, including contraceptive implants (Implanon) and IUD's (mirena and copper).

To balance work she enjoys training and competing in triathlons. Her dog is a willing running partner.

Tues: 8.00am to 5.00pm, Wed and Fri 8.00 am to 6.00pm,

Every 2nd Mon and Thu: 8.00am to 6.00pm and every 2nd Sat 9.00am to 1.00pm

Dr Emma Cowens

Dr Emma Cowens is a UK trained GP who has been working in and around Brisbane for the last three years.  She enjoys all areas of General Practice with interests in sexual health and family planning, children and young people's health and chronic disease management.  Her time outside of work is spent running, cycling and swimming, making the most of Queensland's climate and great outdoors.

Mon 8.15am to 3.00pm, Tue & Thur 8.15am to 5.00pm, Fri 9.00am to 5.00pm

Dr Susie Evans

Dr Susan Evans is an experienced UK trained GP who has worked in the North East of England for the last 14 years. As part of her training she has also worked in Queensland for a year in Emergency Medicine at Logan Hospital.

Her specific interests are paediatrics, elderly medicine and women's health.

Outside work Dr Evans enjoys spending time with her young family, walking in the countryside and having fun at the beach.

Tues 8am to 4pm, Wed & Thu 8am to 2pm, Every 2nd Fri 8am to 2pm and every 2nd Sat 8.30am to 12.30pm

Dr Jennifer Duncombe

Dr Duncombe is a well known and very popular Brisbane GP with more than 30 years experience.

Dr Duncombe provides the regular aftercare for the Gastric Banding procedure used in weight loss. She has been involved in many scientific publications about the effects of weight loss surgery. Her clinic is held at our practice each month.
